Our services

Staining, Restoration, and Repair

Every job starts with a real wash, not just a fresh coat over dirt.

Fence Staining

We hand spray or brush a premium oil based stain onto cedar and pine fences after a full wash and dry. The stain soaks into the grain to protect the wood from sun, rain, and rot while bringing its color back to life.

Deck Staining

Your deck gets the same cleaning and oil based staining process as your fence, board by board. It protects the wood you walk on every day from moisture and UV damage while giving it a fresh, even color.

Wood Cleaning & Restoration

Before any stain goes on, we pressure wash away dirt, mildew, and old peeling finish down to bare, healthy wood. This step is what makes a stain job last instead of peeling again within a year.

Fence Painting

For fences that call for paint instead of stain, we prep the wood and apply a solid coat built to hold up outdoors. It is a good fit for a fence that has taken on too much damage for a stain to soak in evenly.

Fence Building & Repair

We replace rotten boards, reset leaning posts, and rebuild damaged sections so your fence is solid again before it gets stained or painted. A repaired fence holds a finish far better than one patched around.

Good to know

Common Questions

Do you stain or paint fences and decks?

Both. Most fences and decks look and hold up best with an oil based stain since it soaks into the wood, but if yours needs paint instead, we can do that too.

What is included before the stain goes on?

Every job starts with a wash to strip away dirt, mildew, and old finish, plus repairs to any loose or damaged boards. Staining over dirty or wet wood is what makes a finish fail early.

Are you insured?

Yes. Upstate Fence Staining is registered and fully insured.
